Ive only been working at applebees for about a week now as a hostess. Why do i want to quit? many reasons one being i never know when i get off till they tell me like a slave that i can leave. I worked for large ready mix company, driving a mixer. It seemed the people in dispatch had it out for me, making me come in early, and leave late. I also had to do all the maintenance on the truck because the mechanics were far too busy screwing around. At the end of one particularly long week, they sent me to a job at a different plant. They decided that I should haul the last load, skipping over three other drivers from that plant...

Steven Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant with the bad as$ attitude who quit his job in the most dramatic way ever should be the new Job Schmob mascot!!! He did what we all would love to do and I actually feel a little more powerful as a corporate pissed upon peon knowing that at any time, I also could push the button, inflate the slide and slide on out of here with my middle finger in the air!!! Too bad, I'm not a beer drinker, so maybe what I grab will be a giant margarita!!!

I avoided going to school to become an artist in computer graphics, because I couldn't stand the thought of sitting in a cubicle all day staring at a screen. Instead, I went to a liberal arts college, thinking that more general knowledge is always good. I'll find my passion while I'm there. Never did. Agonized over it, but never did. I ended up with a degree in poli sci, but realized politics wasn't my career field after the first year of classes...

Our Grade level rec'vd new books for the new school year, we have the largest Kindergarten class of 145 in our school. Another gal helped put the books together...wow!
She and I did this during the summer session til the new school session started...we are not done-yet! WE did this task on our own, we were not getting paid and this is a waiting game for us...

I love the CBS show "Boss Undercover". I don't usually like reality shows, except "The Biggest Loser". But this one is the awesome-est!!! Boss Undercover. CEO's don't have a clue to what their employees do to "run" their company. These "loyal" employees are dedicated to their jobs to do IT RIGHT! and are PROUD to be working for a great company to service their loyal customers...

Years back at the airplane manufacturer, a team was formed
within our division to help within the community.This involved things like house repair & cleanup,food collection,etc.
The team was named Community Leadership Involvement Team..
