Boss who thinks she is God

Has anyone had a Boss who thinks they are God. Mine informed the whole team that she "Was God" and she could do anything she wanted. She stated that she knew anything and everything we said, did-even when we were not at work.

labtech (06/11/2007) We have a tech who thinks he's the Boss, and God besides. He actually says "Bless me" when someone sneezes. He's been there 27 years, you see, and anyone that doesn't do their work HIS way - never mind what the lab manual says, or how they were trained by the appropriate supervisor - he will shout and carry on until it's done the way he wants. He has never been promoted because of his attitude - big surprise there huh ? So you have to wait until he goes away before doing it the proper way, or there's a big fuss. All I can say is, there's something very wrong with these people. Oh that would just be too much! I haven't worked with a God complex yet, but I have worked with one who thought he was God's gift to women! UGH! Dog Lover: I would do a little inquiring as to how she thinks she knows what you do and say outside of work.
