Okay so this is pretty dang long, but hey, this is what's going down in my hell hole. I'm am looking for another job, and I hope I get another one soon. I can't wait to get out of there. ~*~Scroll down all the way to hear it in a nutshell.~*~ LOL So much pent-up frustration *sigh*
Well, I'll tell you what..It all started when this little 50 year old (I think she's about that age) vietnamese woman got hired at the restaurant I work at(Subway in Seattle). She's been there for a year. I started working there last year in August. At first, my sister and other employees liked her. She even like them. they had fun, laughed and got along. She has very weak english skills and it is hard to make out what she says most of the time.
Then of course the boss thinks it would be a good idea and make her a "personal assistant" and called her the "big boss" whenever he was there. We all do not know how or why it was started, but eventually, they became pretty close to each other. And it was, and still is, dang obvious. What he saw in her, we don't know. She's an old scraggly thing. Anyway, But my co-worker (back then she was Manager), Was the one doing inventory, the orders and closing the store. She worked 11am to 11pm for crying out loud!! And was barely noticed for her hard work. The little shit(the "personal assistant") would not listen to her. The manager would tell her "Take your break" But you know what? She refused because she wanted to wait for the Boss and eat with him. She would take almost and hour long break!!! And if it got really busy she would still sit in the back eating with the motherfooker.
Well things got more and more worse; the scaraggly one talked less and less to everyone, would not listen to anyone, and I believe the boss just filled her mind with such false...what's the word I'm looking for?? Basically just making her think that she's the big boss and she is the one in control. He just seriously, I believe, started manipulating her. And now she is a complete *@#!%. When I first started working there I was dong dishes. This was my first job, and she got mad at me because I was doing them too slow. I almost cried, but I held it in because I was not gonna be fooking embarrassed by that WENCH.
Eventually, the manager decided to just change her schedule to closing and give up her manager position. She said "He(the boss) doesn't care! And she's doing what she wants, so what the flog is this?" Well, after she did that guess who becomes the manager? Ohh yeah, you guessed it. The personal assistant! She has no manager skills whasoever! She can't even finish the inventery or orders on time!! The stupid boss will depend on us other employees to count the inventory if she falls behind on it. Yeah. Some fricking manager! She must be great in bed huh you sleeze?? Oh yeah she's the greatest! She's the big boss!!
By now it's waaaaay obvious the two have some sort of relationship going on. Oh by the way, the boss is married and has a teenage son. So it's a new year, everything is just as crappy. She doesn't order enough chips or sodas. We always run out of veggies or meats. things are just effed up. It's so bad to where if anyone talks to the boss about the *@%$@# he basically says "If you can't work wth her, then leave." Which is bullshit.
The things that the employees are trying to bring to his attention are as follows:
1. She yells at employees in front of customers
2. She rarely helps on the line, is always at the register and is still making bread which should be done already by noon-ish(especially since she is geting there at 6am.)
3. She has no manager skills
4. She NEVER says please when asking us to do something or say thanks
5. She doesn't let us know when she is behind us which has resulted in many accidents invovling her getting hit in the face twice and prepped food falling on the floor...twice.
And these are not complaints. These are issues that just need to be resolved. And you know what he has said from these many issues? Alright here we go:
1. She's crazy don't listen to her
2. Okay. I will talk to her about it(Which we're sure he never would because she still does the same thing)
3. If you don't want to work with her leave/find another job
4. If I had to choose between you and her(the !@#$#), I'd choose her. (I was told this one a few days ago by a co-worker who has been there for 3 weeks)
Okay, what the hell?? He is so out there, and corrupted and thinking with his f*#king dick, we have lost business, we've gone through about 4-5 employees fired/quit within a couple months because of the b*@#. A lot of the customers do not like her.
You know, a co-worker called in sick and so you know what he does? takes her off the schedule and gives her only one day of work. Another one of my co-workers got jumped last night. He STILL came in this morning, but another co-worker came in for him. The guy probably came in because had he called the boss and said "I got beat up I can't come in" He probaby would have been fired or taken of the schedule!!
He's totally a friggen a-hole. He pretends to be nice, but he's really a prick. He recently took over another subway, made my sister manager and she brought that branch up from the ground. Previously it was bad: the current employees closed early, fooled around, did the inventory and orders wrong, pretty dirty, and for some reason, placed bread knives above the doorways. Now it's getting business, people like it there. My sister is very friendly and nice to customers and employees. Yet our arsehole of a boss will be a total !@* to her sometimes.
So in a Nutshell: Boss is screwing and manipulating the new manager, whos is a b!@*# and has no skills and bad english skills, Is corrupted and will fire or basically "encourage" people to leave if they don't like working with her. Business has gone down and he won't realize it until it's too late.
I'm just tired of this bullshit and two-faced behaviour and how he just feels no remorse and doesn't feel guilty for the many people he has screwed over!
Currently, two co-workers are writing down everything that is wrong or if the manager yells at them in front of people, or any other thing that is rediculous and unfair or wrong. If they get fired, well guess what, they have plenty of ammo.
