Abuse, Berating, and Criminal behavior are the ABC's of the Hepburn Lycoming school I teach at. My tenure here is about to end at my choosing of course, and I have had enough of this place. From the Principle who has no principles, down to the several teachers that I know of who are hippocrites and abusing their so called power and abusing the children to put it "mildly". It's time that someone get the truth out about this country school.
Meetings are a joke around here. As soon as an issue or incidents like improper touching, children accusing certain teachers more than once of improper language, touching, or anythihg else that's put on the table and raised by myself or another honest teacher like myslef, it is swept under the rug by certain dishonest teachers including the Principle. I am stunned that issues like keeping the school parking lot lights on all night 7 days a week, extra snow days, extra days off, pay raises, the obsessional worries about stepping in deer crap, bird crap, and dog crap, the dead skunk carcase and it's crap, and above all else stepping the "Principles crap". Importantly, we have one "lone" drug free school zone sign hidden behind a tree, and three teachers that I know of have smoked pot in their class rooms in between classes. Unbelievably after the Principle supposedly stepped in one of the many stray farm dogs crap, he put up at least seven signs all around the school hopeing the stray dogs "will read" the "no dogs allowed signs". Though I still can't figure out why the Principles wife's allowed on the premises, plus a few woman teachers, plus the one guy who's wife looks uglier than a gorilla trying to direct traffic. Well so much for priorites and "princliples". My concers get swept under the principls desk. I swear they'd love to take me out back and whip like a bad slavery film everytime I stick to my guns for the kid's sake, it's just not fair.
I will definately be moving on soon to another school very soon. I think this school I am leaving should be investigated and shut down! I fear the worst for those poor kids, I only wish I could do more. I ssoke to a few parents owvr the years and maybe we all could make a difference in those kids lives. I am hoeful the evidence I have hopefully will be enough.
Before I leave I am going to put a sign on the Princiles desk, "Principles with no principles allowed on the premises!" It is safe to say this school of crimnially bad fish sure does stink!
Sincerely,
A True Teacher
