fired for not doing a room in 20 mins

i was just fried today told the reason was cause i was not able to clean a room in 20 mins and didnt have 7 done by 11 when we start at 830 am what laugh i dont know about you i want a clen room to sleep in not a drity one and not only that i think the real reason is cause i had afamily emerancy so i couldnt atttend so they said this due to not doing rooms in 20 but frst it was well since you cant make it to work cause you are not sure when due to your family emerancy than lets just say you volnterly quit but that didnt work so they said this what the hell is this i think its just bully cause i was the only mexican in the this holiday inn that speaks english and spanish well and well they didnt like it cause when they would tell one of my coworkers that if they miss day or didnt show up for some reason they would call ins on them and i told them it was not true they cant do that so you see people it doesnt matter where you live even if you are born here in the united stated to a latin cukture you still get the same bs...... not only that i wouldnt want to stay in there anyways cause if you are a guest in this holiday and you are staying for more than one day just so you know we are not allowed to change your sheets until you are gone gross and by the hotel mangement you we have to....

I've worked in the hotel industry in the past and have seen firsthand how housekeeping staff are forced to rush and aren't able to effectively clean. As for you being bilingual - that would be a bonus in my book if I were your employer! Hold your head high, maintain pride in your work and hopefully your next employer will appreciate you.
