My office is chaotic. I am at the bottom of the food chain because I answer customer calls. The head office decided to make our jobs easier by adding unnecessary programs. These processes jam up our computers and delay the calls while we wait for our computers or have to reboot entirely. Meanwhile middle managers complain that the calls are taking too long and customers can't get through. Is this the work of the devil? Why would some stuffed shirt even ask for trouble by adding inadequate software? Why wouldn't they ask for input by people that actually work?
