VP of Sales + Channel Manager

I work at this company that we shall call Borderware for fun.
Guess what? The VP of sales has had a long time relation with the girl he has hired to run the sales reseller community.
Now, what do you get when you mix and match work with your lover who is now your direct report. A huge conflict of interest.
What is foolhardy is that everyone and anybody knows about these two lovers but no one botehrs. Why? Did I say he is the VP? OMG

If lover girl wants what you have been striving for she will get it. My spouse was in a similar, very disappointing situation.
